Simulation Engineer (FEA)

  • Office: Kopisto 8a, Rzeszów
  • Contract of employment

Your responsibilities:

  • preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, crack propagation) of aero engine components using FEA (Ansys Workbench and other) and analytical methods under supervision,
  • preparation of analyses and reports,
  • assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components and their effects on the product,
  • preparation of 2D and 3D technical documentation using Catia V5,
  • day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production,
  • technical support to other departments for process improvement,
  • technical validation of concessions related with visual, dimensional and process non-conformities of aero engines components,
  • defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, production permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products.

Our requirements:

  • language: English, B2,
  • 3-7 years of experience,
  • master degree in engineering,
  • teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude and decision-making skills,
  • ability of technical drawing interpretation,
  • in-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity, Fatigue Strength and related challenges,
  • professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry,
  • Ansys or Patran or Abaqus or Hyperworks experience.

Optional:

  • Catia V5 experience,
  • Solidedge experience,
  • language: French,
  • design and GD&T experience will be considered a plus,
  • knowledge of design and operation of aircraft engines.

Thermal Engineer (Senior/Mid)

Your responsibilities:

  • Aero & Thermal Team of Research & Development Centre of Safran Aircraft Engines Poland has a wide spectrum of responsibility, projects, tools and methods used which will allow for your continuous long-term development,
  • the team has responsibility for the thermal design of the engine: from individual part through engine systems integration (Core & SAS, Turbine, Compressor, Externals) for all engine components,
  • successful candidates will participate in thermal design of existing and next generation engine architectures intended for civil aircraft; working in close collaboration with an international group of experts including aerodynamic, aeroacoustics and mechanical engineering; as well as the teams responsible for integration of the modules,
  • you will support the Life Cycle of the Engine from early schemes to chosen design to test validation and including in service support,
  • perform technical/CFD analyses in support of next generation Engine development using technical expertise in the area of responsibility,
  • participate in the overall design of the engine at all phases, from concept to design through production and including monitoring of engines in service,
  • day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from R&D office and international partners at various stages of the project, from concept to change in definition,
  • support the roadmap of team continuous development regarding competences and responsibilities,
  • senior Engineers will review each delivery for its technical content and mentor members of the team; as well as support Technical Leader in agreeing the new activities, defining deadlines, tracking and reporting work progress in direct contact with internal stakeholders, identifying team skills and training needs.

Our requirements:

  • language: English, B2,
  • master degree in engineering,
  • teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, task management and decision-making skills,
  • understanding of thermal and fluid mechanics theory,
  • experience within thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, performance or energy engineering,
  • CFD simulation experience (Ansys FLUENT or other).

Optional:

  • Thermal FEA software experience (Abaqus, Ansys Thermal Analysis),
  • Mechanical FEA software experience,
  • language: French.
